jason shulman has created a haunting new series of images, at first glimpse they just look like blurs of colour, these strange images are actually full length movies in a single image. check them out.
the longer you stare at them, the more you seem to notice, the london based sculptor had this to say:
“There are roughly 130,000 frames in a 90 minute film,” says the artist. “Every frame of each film is recorded in these photographs. You could take all these frames and shuffle them like a deck of cards, and no matter what the shuffle, you would end up with the same image I have arrived at. Each of these photographs is the genetic code of a film – its visual DNA.”
they are certainly interesting, you can definitely get a feel for the film’s content by just looking at the images, i personally would have thought the yellow submarine would be a lot brighter. anyway, check them out and visit his website here to see more
